The Service
Tap The Set helps DJs create event request queues, share QR links, review guest song requests, and accept optional tipped requests. Tap The Set does not guarantee that any requested song will be played.
DJ Accounts
DJs are responsible for keeping account access secure, configuring event queues accurately, reviewing requests appropriately, and complying with venue, platform, payment, tax, and local obligations that apply to their work.
Guest Requests
Guests should submit requests respectfully and only for legitimate event participation. DJs may accept, decline, ignore, archive, or close requests at their discretion. DJs may also cut off abusive or unwanted submissions from a device.
Optional Tips
Tips are optional and do not guarantee that a song will be played. Tipped requests are authorized first and are intended to be captured only if the DJ accepts or marks the request as played. Declined requests are released or refunded where applicable. Timing may depend on Stripe, banks, card issuers, and payment networks.
Payments And Payouts
Payments are processed by Stripe. DJs using tips may need to complete Stripe Connect onboarding before receiving payouts. Tap The Set may apply platform or processing-fee handling according to the product configuration shown in the app.
Acceptable Use
Do not use Tap The Set to submit unlawful, abusive, harassing, deceptive, infringing, spammy, or harmful content. Do not interfere with the service, bypass rate limits, misuse payment flows, or attempt to access another DJ's data.
Availability
Tap The Set is provided on an as-available basis. The service may be interrupted, changed, limited, or discontinued. We try to keep the product reliable, but live events should always have a backup plan.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Tap The Set is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use of Tap The Set after changes means you accept the updated terms.
