Information We Collect

DJs provide account information such as email address, display name, event names, branding settings, and request-management actions. Guests may provide song request details, artist names, requester names, notes, and optional tip choices when tips are enabled.

Tap The Set may also process technical information such as device cookies, request tokens, IP-derived abuse-prevention signals, browser metadata, timestamps, and usage information needed to keep queues secure and reliable.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate DJ queues, show requests to the correct DJ, prevent spam or abuse, manage optional tipped request flows when enabled, provide account access, troubleshoot issues, and improve the service.

Payments

Optional tips are disabled in the current production release. If tips are enabled in a future release, they are handled through Stripe. Tap The Set does not store full card numbers. Stripe may then process payment details, connected-account onboarding information, fraud signals, refunds, payouts, and related payment records under its own policies.

App Store Subscriptions

Apple processes purchases for Tap The Set DJ Pro subscriptions. Tap The Set uses RevenueCat to validate purchases, restore access, and manage subscription entitlements. This processing can include a Tap The Set account identifier, purchase history, product identifiers, subscription status, and transaction-related information. Tap The Set does not receive or store full App Store payment-card details.

Optional AI-Assisted Replies

Eligible DJs can choose to generate a suggested reply to a song request. When the DJ uses this feature, Tap The Set sends the request details needed to generate the suggestion to OpenAI. The DJ remains in control of reviewing, editing, or discarding the suggestion. Tap The Set does not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Authentication And Service Providers

Tap The Set uses Supabase for authentication and database services. Social login providers, such as Google and Apple, may process information needed to authenticate a DJ account. RevenueCat supports App Store subscription validation, OpenAI supports optional AI-assisted replies, Stripe processes optional tips when enabled, and Vercel provides hosting and deployment.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to run Tap The Set, process payments, secure accounts, deliver the app, comply with law, or protect the service from abuse. Tap The Set does not use personal information to track people across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Cookies And Local Storage

Tap The Set uses cookies and similar browser storage for sign-in sessions, guest request tracking, security, and queue operation. Blocking cookies may prevent parts of the service from working correctly.

Data Retention

We keep account, queue, request, and payment-related records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet operational needs, and comply with legal or financial obligations.

Your Choices

DJs can sign out, update event information, close request queues, and manage events from the dashboard. The DJ app provides account deletion from Settings once that app is available; if you cannot access that option, contact support. Deletion closes active sets, removes the Supabase Auth account and application data linked to it, and revokes Tap The Set's Sign in with Apple authorization when applicable.

Deleting a Tap The Set account does not cancel an App Store subscription. If you have one, manage or cancel it separately through your Apple account. Stripe, Apple, and other providers may retain records under their own policies or legal obligations.
